Plot Outline:
Synopsis: A film with Simon Yam, Maggie Siu and Lam Suet starring as members of a Police Tactical Unit; a shot looking down on a couple of PTU teams staring each other out, several twists with a strong sense of black humour – it could easily be a Johnnie To movie, but it is not. One of a series of five full-length features, Tactical Unit – Comrades In Arms will be the only one to get a theatrical release, the others will be screened on TV and later go to the DVD market. Johnnie To produced the film and that may lead some to expect it to be more extraordinary than it really is – yet treated as a teaser, Law Wing Cheong’s film is satisfying and should leave audiences itching to see the rest of the series.
